CrystalBelle Photography {Pensacola Newborn Photographer}

Mister L and his family come into my home studio a few weeks ago.  He was such a dream!  After a few minutes of fussing, we had him sleeping like a the doll he was!  I was also able to get in a few photos of the mom and dad, something I never usually try but I am going to begin with all newborn sessions.  These few days of true newborness (is that a word??) are to be cherished and remembered!

I also made a custom birth announcement for the family!  * Personal information removed for privacy!

CrystalBelle Photography. Pensacola Newborn Photographer

Little Baby T

I had the extreme pleasure of photographing Ms. T and her sister!  This family was just so precious.

Ms. T slept like a dream for me and I got a chance to use some of my new headbands I purchased off Etsy.  I am now addicted to Esty like a champ and can spend hours debating between the hundreds of headbands and frilly props.

I started with a simple pink fleece.  It really picked up the tone of Ms. T skin.  She was like a cloud on a pink sky!  This is one of my new bands, a blue flower embellished with a black and white feather!  I love how it is not pink, but yet perfectly girly in all ways!

Baby T's mother had brought an amazing tutu!  I was very excited to photograph this.  I am now on a mission to make or purchase a few of these to keep in the studio for other sessions.

The best part of the session was when big sissy got in on the action!  You can just see the bond between these two already!  Check out the smiles on BOTH girls!

Also being modeled by our newest princess is another headband.  This one is a simple black and white flower! Very classic and simple.

Every session I have one (or two) favorite photos.  I can usually tell before I get the images into my editing programs which photos are going to be my favorite.  With this session, hands down, this is my favorite image.  It just shows so much emotion and love between the two girls, already at only days old.  This is a photo they will be able to look at 50 years from now and smile.  These are the types of images that keep me going, some days I am ready to throw my camera out the window, then an image like this appears.  It might not be the best technically, but for me the emotion wins.

1st Maternity in Home Studio

My home studio is small.  I push my living room furniture around, set up my backdrop stand, my paper and do it to it.  I open up my sliding glass door curtains for some added light, but mostly use my one speedlight, umbrella mounted and just play around.  It is such a learning curve.

I've only shot babies, children, and other things that are not tall and grown!  I can't back up far, because my house ends.  I joke that I need to knock the wall down so I can get a few more feet to back up, that or I need an new wide angle lens... hum???

So here are a few from my first maternity session indoors.  They were such good sports!  Really cute couple, ready for their baby girl to arrive!

Fashion Shoot/Vintage Photography

This past Friday was a great day!  I got to hang out with an amazing bunch of women and take  pictures!  What a better way to spend a Friday?

This shoot was for an Etsy sellers website, The Krickets Jewel.   In order to bring higher profits, she wanted more professional photos.  The way a garment looks on the human form is so much different then the way it looks on a hanger!  Take the follow two pictures for example.

The outfits on the hanger look really, ummmmm in nice terms, ugly.  You can not imagine wearing this!  But once you actually see it on a person, you can see how cute it can look!

All the models were amazing, we laughed so much.  I can't wait to do it again.
Check out the sellers shop, she has some amazing stuff!
